Following in the footsteps of Starlight’s power ballad from Season 2, The Boys present A-Train with his song. Though it was a smash hit in season one, Amazon’s version of the Boys comic book series soared even higher in season two in 2020.
There were plenty of shocks and surprises for spectators to discover between the arrival of a wicked new super (Aya Cash’s Stormfront) and a mysterious head-popping villain. The Boys, nominated for multiple Emmys, is now working on season 3, which has yet to receive an Amazon launch date.
The Boys, an Amazon Prime Original series, aired in 2019 and quickly became a hit among the superhero community. The Boys became pretty popular with both fans and reviewers thanks to their refreshing take on superheroes that spoof and humanised our beloved characters from famous DC or Marvel franchises.
The bleak satiric superhero series gradually garnered more fans, including former US President Barack Obama, and is now set to return for a potentially promising third season.
The Boys has broadcast two successful seasons based on the comic book series of the same name by writer Garth Ennis and illustrator Darick Robertson. The forthcoming third season is one of the most eagerly anticipated new television seasons in recent memory, with fans around the world eager to see what season 3 has in store.
When will ‘The Boys’ season 3 will be released?
The release date for Boys Season 3 has yet to be confirmed. However, we can offer an informed judgment as to when it will arrive.

Filming for the third season began in February of this year, so the highly awaited instalment will take some time to arrive. As you can see from the photographs, filming is presently underway.
We can estimate a pretty accurate release period by comparing previous season filming schedules and comparing them to their actual air dates.
Season 1 of The Boys began production in May 2018 and ended in October 2018, with an air date of July 2019 — a nine-month wait. Meanwhile, season 2 of The Boys was shot from July to November 2019 and will premiere on Amazon Prime in September 2020, a ten-month delay.
The Boys Season 3 could be released between late 2021 and early 2022 if everything goes according to plan.
When Be Will ‘The Boys’ Season 3 Trailer Released?
To precisely forecast the debut of Season 3’s trailer, we’ll have to depend on records once again. The teaser for The Boys’ second season was released early in December 2019, six weeks after production.

Season 3 is expected to wrap filming in September so that an official teaser could arrive in early November. We already know that The Boys’ third season will be three times as brutal as Season 2. Hopefully, it will be three times as devious and entertaining to see. We can only wait for a release date and wonder what Season 3 has in store for the time being.

It has been confirmed that Gaston Villanueva would play the super known as Supersonic. He used to date Starlight and was known as Drummer Boy.

The first episode of season three of The Boys is described in full.
Eric Kripke intimated that the goods are coming in The Boys season 3 episode 1 with a GIF from the S2 finale.
Alistair Adana, the chairman of the cult The Church of the Collective, was shown in some fairly explosive film, accompanied by the notation “Actual footage of me viewing Episode 301 of #TheBoys Director Cut. I believe you’re in for something truly unique. Insane, too. And unique.”
Season 3 of The Boys: News Videos
Amazon doesn’t have a trailer for The Boys season 3 yet, but they do have something to keep us occupied in the meantime. The clips from the Vought News Network will attempt to tie the story together across seasons.

Vought is attempting to reclaim its PR with a Global Wellness Center, as seen in the August 7 edition of our series. It’s unclear whether this is the Sage Grove Center.
Supersonic (a.k.a. Drummer Boy) appears to be reuniting with The Seven. According to her followers, the clip also suggests a reunion between him and Starlight, who’s supposedly worried about burning out.
In light of Stormfront’s evil ways, Vought is spreading propaganda about Homelander being the good guy in the previous clip, which can be seen below. The video also reveals that the US military is debating whether or not to accept superhumans into the ranks.
The plot of The Boys Season 3
The Boy’s season 3 storyline specifics are still being kept under wraps, but the show’s new Vought News Network feature “Seven on 7” has disclosed some critical clues about what’s happened since the season 2 conclusion. In the case of A-Train (Jessie T. Usher), he’s finally returned to the Seven after being fired without cause.
In the first episodes of The Boys, A-Train has coped with a Compound V addiction and a decline in his speedy powers. However, going into Season 3, it appears like A-reputation Train has been restored.

The season 2 conclusion of Boys has enormous implications for the show’s future. Season 3, in particular, has to cope with characters going their separate ways, new alliances forming, and some characters not surviving at all.
We should expect a lot of attention to be paid to Victoria Neuman. The assassinated Supe politician has been blowing up heads and is sure to have a devious plot up her sleeve.
After breaking his pledge and keeping Ryan out of Stan Edgar’s grasp, Butcher may find himself in the sights of Vought and the reformed Seven. That, combined with the introduction of the first Super, Soldier Boy, could reveal additional information about the corporation’s beginnings.
Who plays Black Noir? We also asked Claudia Doumit, Victoria Neuman, and Nathan Mitchell what we can anticipate from their respective characters in the third season, which should serve as a nice teaser until we learn more definite details about The Boys season 3 story.

“I’m looking forward to seeing what happens between Hughie and her. I’m eager to learn more about her. I’m looking forward to learning more about her background and how she came to be where she is. Also, I’m extremely thrilled to watch her mess some shit up and blow some heads off,” Doumit remarked of Neuman’s appearances in the third season.
What about Black Noir? He can muck shit up in a new and terrifying way. Mitchell remarked of the Seven’s possible alterations in Season 3, “He and Maeve are not going to get along!” That is self-evident. It’s fascinating since there’s a forced alliance between the characters.
Homelander has doubts about Maeve and Starlight.
Noir has just fought Starlight, and he has no faith in Maeve. A-Train has just clawed his way back in, and he and Starlight have formed an uneasy alliance, so they’re now enemies.” “Everyone is crossed; it’s like a house divided among itself yet still together. The relationship that is about to unfold has a lot of intriguing undercurrents.
The Boys has never shied away from depicting real-life occurrences. COVID-19 is currently dominating – and Eric Kripke is confident that it will impact some of the stories he and his writing team will tell in the future.
“I can tell that season three, without being particularly about COVID— we’re having a lot of conversations about the government response to COVID here in the States,” Kripke teased at a roundtable. And I guess that symbolically, you’ll see that in one way or another.”

“Herogasm” is one of the season 3 ideas that have been suggested. It’s a ripped-from-the-comics arc in which Supes get hot and sweaty each other on a vacation trip that has been paid for with money. Kripke acknowledged in a Reddit AMA that he wanted to film those sex scenes for one episode. Even if Season 3 is already shaping up to be a doozy without any additional bodily fluids spilt, it appears to be happening.
Season 3 may potentially include the global debut of Dawn of the Seven, according to Kripke’s latest Tweets. The Avengers-style Vought movie was ‘filmed’ during The Boys season 2 events, and the finished result might be seen in future episodes. Actor Laz Alonso has also hinted that there will be a lot more blood in the upcoming season.
“The craziest thing we’ve ever done,” Kripke previously told EW, is stashed away in the third season’s debut. We also have one last piece of information. One word: retaliation. That’s the title of The Boys season 3’s first episode, as well as a reference to a gang of characters drawn from The Boys comics, including Soldier Boy and Stormfront at one point. Is there any chance we’ll see the super-team again in season 3?
Recently, several more solid storyline hints have been released. Teasers in the form of a TV news bulletin are being issued in the lead-up to season 3, and the Vought News Network broadcasts have already teed up some interesting tale developments in the two that have hit the internet so far.
