Unfortunately, Issei Hyoudou is killed on his first date by Yuuma Amano, a fallen angel. Issei is then renewed and resurrected by a devil named Rias Gremory, who happens to be the prettiest, glamorous and beautiful, the crimson-haired voluptuous woman at Issei’s school. As Rias Gremory resurrected Issei Hyouduo, he now has to work and serve for Gremory. They eventually fall in love with each other.
When Would High School DxD Season 5 Get Released?
So the release date of High School DxD’s Fifth Season hasn’t yet been confirmed. Sources like The Cine Talk said that the Fifth Segment of the Anime Series was about to premiere long ago in 2020, but the ongoing pandemic drastically flopped the plan of Releasing its fifth season. Nothing new could have been expected as COVID 19 did the same thing to every other anime series. Achieve Ishibumi confirmed that season 5 of the series is still on the way.
However, we may expect High School Season 5 to premiere somewhere around October 2021, also recognised as the fall of Anime Season. If not in October, the fifth season would be released between the first and second quarter of 2022.

Who all Would be Returning as the Cast in High School DxD Season 5?
The official cast for High School DxD Season 5 hasn’t been unveiled yet. However, it’s believed that the cast from the previous High School DxD: Hero will return. This includes the voices of Yuki Kaji as Issei Hyoudou, Ayana Taketaksu as Koneko Toujou, Yoko Hikasa as Rias Gremory, Shizuka Ito as Akeno Himejima, and Azumi Asakura as Asia Argento.
High School Season 4 was produced by Studio Passione, getting the direction head from Yoshifumi Sueda. The modification in style of the direction and studios surprised many fans, and some fans weren’t delighted with all the sudden shift.
The sudden move even caused some fans to file a petition against the showrunners and the Production Studio of the Series to change back to its season 1 through 3 styles. However, as of now, there’s no such news regarding any change. So Passione and Sueda will likely continue to handle animation responsibilities for High School DxD Season 5.
Expected Plot for High School DxD Season 5
‘High School DxD’ introduces us to Issei, a high school student who falls in love with the gorgeous Yumma. But things take a drastic turn when he gets killed on the first date. Rias Gremory, the devil, later rescued him, who asks Issei to serve her and work for the school’s club. Eventually, to survive in the chaotic world of the devils and angels, Issei starts working on his skills.
The forthcoming Season 5 may kickstart from the Middle-Class Promotion Test. While Issei, Kiba, and Akeno prepare and get ready to ace the test, Koneko starts to act dubiously. Koneko also knows about Issei, and Rias’ relationship is backed with intimacy and closeness, and he is not happy with the development.
On the other hand, there is another massive twist. Azazel brings the head of the Khaos Brigade and Ophis to the Hyoudou Residence. Since season 4 covers two volumes, Volume 9 and 10, from the light novels, we expect season 5 to modify the next two volumes, 11 and 12.
