The ultimate comeback of The Voice with yet another season backed by the Selection of very talented and majestic coaches Blake Shelton, John Legend, Kelly Clarkson, and the multi-grammy winner Ariana Grande. Ariana Grande will be joining the rest three dynamic coaches from Season 21.
Created by John De Mol, Directed by Alan Carter, and Presented by Carson Daly, The Voice was initially premiered on 26th April 2011. Since then, it has never stopped searching for the great and musical note in the Voice. The Voice is an American Singing Competition that is broadcasted on NBC. The Voice is an adaptation to the Voice of Holland and has been part of the Voice Franchise for a decade.
Some eminent vocalists have been part of the Judge Panel, and they have been successfully trained budding singers. Christina Aguilera, CeeLo Green, Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Shakira, Usher, Gwen Stefani, Pharrell Williams, Miley Cyrus, Alicia Keys, Jennifer Hudson, Kelly Clarkson, John Legend, Nick Jonas, and Ariana Grande.
Concept and Selection Process
The Conception is pretty simple. The Voice is adapted from the Dutch Show The Voice Of Holland, which airs on NBC. It has organized 20 Seasons, and in each Season, a winner emerges who takes away $100,000 and records a deal with the Universal Republic Records and Universal Music Group.
The Selection of the vocalists is not so complicated a process where the Coaches take “Blind Auditions,” where the coaches/judges face the audiences at first when the vocalists sing. If the judges find the Voice of the artist mesmerizing, then they have to press a buzzer that indicates “I Want You.” Upon pressing the buzzer, their chair turns towards the artist. If more than one judge presses the buzzer, then the power comes into the artist’s hands, and everything depends on their preference. To whom the artist chooses, they become their mentor for the entire Season.
A Unique feature was introduced in Season 14, which is called the “Block” feature. Any judge can use this feature to block a contestant from going to a team of any other mentor. “Battle Grounds” where each mentor chooses two of their teammates to perform in a pair and go against the other team.
The Voting System is also quick and simple. The first way to vote is the Universal Republic Records. Next, NBC asked the fans to purchase their favorite contestant’s studio version of songs from iTunes, which they eventually perform on the live stage each week. The other ways of voting were by calling the Toll-Free Number and text messaging. The last alternative method was to download The Voice Official App on the NBC app. The Votes are limited to ten times for each user.
