Sex/Life Season 1
The show follows a married woman who is unhappy with her perfect present life. She misses her days of youth and the fun she had when she could. She starts to fantasize about her ex-boyfriend. Her struggle to decide between her husband and the recently back ex-boyfriend is something fun to watch. She goes through times when she experienced a significant difference between her life ten years ago and the present.
The series follows the comic struggle of Billie’s life for a perfect life and a fun life. Billie Connelly is settled with her husband and two kids. Billie, bored with her life, starts to fantasize and miss her life when it was exciting with her ex-boyfriend Brad. She starts to feel that her life with her husband is not as exciting as her life previously was.
Billie starts remembering her romantic phase with Brad and writes down her fantasies in a diary. It all goes well until her husband Cooper reads her diary and begins to wonder who Brad was. Brad too enters Billie’s life again, trying to get her back despite knowing she is married and has kids. On the other side, Cooper is being attracted to his boss Francesca. Francesca has developed feelings for Cooper.
Throughout season 1, Billie goes through a phase of remembering her fun life with Brad. The episodes show flashbacks Billie has from her relationship with Brad in her college days. In the present day, Cooper and Billie try to rekindle the spice in their marriage. They go on a double date with Cooper’s friend Devon and his wife, Trina. The experience gives them several things to evaluate.
Billie even seeks help to understand her feelings about her marriage life and the one before that. She feels guilty for her feelings for Brad and the sense of betraying her husband and kids. But her fantasies seem to get the best of her.
At the end of Season 1, Billie decides that she wants to pursue a relationship with Brad. But here is the twist, she does not want to end her marriage with Cooper, which poses the question if both men agree to such a relationship. Choosing the present husband you are perfect for keeps you happy and an ex-boyfriend who can only satisfy your physical desires.
Season 1 finale episode ended with a cliffhanger, where Billie asks Brad to be with her, but he doesn’t answer her yet. The fans are excited to know what his answer is. The way the season ended poses the question about the following season.

If they decide to be together, how will Billie manage a married life and a completely different relationship? Season 2 might give you the answers you seek.
The show has received several positive responses. This factor might play a significant role in helping decide the fate of the show. It has even received positive critique reviews. Unfortunately, along with the show’s love, it has also gotten some very critical and negative thoughts.
Some critiques have pointed out some unrealistic aspects of the series. They have also pointed out that Billie’s life could have been more realistic. But if that were true, then it would not have been drama now, would it?
