Jeremy Renner

Marvel’s Phase 4, a time set right after Avengers’ events: Endgame. After the movie, a lot of the characters have tried to continue their lives after the demise of Tony Stark and eventually defeating Thanos. Most of the significant characters suffered significant losses while they were on the mission to collect Infinity Stones and travel to different parts of their timelines. Although, one of the characters that took a significant hit was Clint Barton, a.k.a. Hawkeye. After the death of Natasha, Clint was not in a condition to recover from the loss. So, after Vormir in 2014, he had to avenge Natasha’s death while fighting the battle against Thanos.

Now, Clint is returning for his standalone story as Hawkeye in the series as its titular character. Of course, there are a lot of expectations from the series. After Endgame, Clint went off to live with his family on the farm and discontinued a connection from the Avengers initiative. Ever since then, he was never seen around. The only last time people ever saw him was at Tony’s funeral. At the time, he was having a conversation with Wanda, talking about much he wishes Tony and Natasha would be alive to see a world that has come back to normal. Now, let us see what Hawkeye is about to do next in his solo act.

Barton’s story goes in the past because he was orphaned at an early age and then joined the circus. He then became an apprentice to a man named Trickshot, under which he learned how to fight with blades and then become the circus resident archer. Barton sometimes here and there mentions his history with Natasha and the way they fought together in Budapest. Of course, from speculation, it seems that that history will not be shown in this show. For that, Natasha, a.k.a Black Widow, would have to make an appearance, which the creators have not mentioned. Maybe it nay come as an easter egg for all we know. Let’s wait and find out.

Of course, all of this history is based on what was generally created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. For all we know, there could be several plot twists given in the show. They might even be things we never knew about. A mystery to be revealed.

Many people don’t know about this show because before the series was planned, Renner had signed on to do a standalone film for the character.
