Fate: The Winx Saga A Must-Watch For Everyone

Fate: The Winx Saga

This fall, Netflix brings you another young adult web series’ Fate: The Winx Saga’. This show is based on the longest-running animated series Winx Club by Iginio Straffi, a joint creation of Rainbow S.p.A and Nickelodeon. ‘Fate: The Winx Saga’ is an original production of Netflix produced by Rainbow S.p.A with Iginio Straffi, Brian Young (co-executive producer of Vampire Diaries), Judy Counihan, Kris Thykier, Cristiana Buzzelli, Joanne Lee as the executive producers and the producer being Jon Finn.

Summary

This series will follow the mysterious, thrilling, and spectacular adventures of Bloom and her other fairy friends at Alfea College. We get to see our nostalgic animated Winx Club characters in a live-action series, where they fight the witches, demons, monsters, and other threats that are trying to destroy the very existence of them. This series also includes our most awaited interests of love, the Specialists, the students of Red Fountain School who are romantically involved with the Winx Club. They together are going to master their magical powers and overcome every huddles and threat they get in their way.

Production Development

Iginio Straffi first mentioned the live-action adoption in an interview in 2011. In 2013 he informed the audience that he still holds onto his dream of making Bloom and her friends come to live battling for the good very soon. In March 2018, he finally declared to bring a young live-action series to production. Finally, this December became the official and final declaration month of the live-action adoption of ‘Fate: The Winx Saga.’

Casting

Netflix and Rainbow S.p.A has done a remarkable job in selecting the cast for the project. Here we will see Abigail Cowen as Bloom, the red-haired leader of Winx Club (who has shown a remarkable performance in the Netflix original show ‘The chilling adventures of Sabrina’) with Danny Griffin being Sky (Bloom’s love interest). Among Bloom’s friends, we will see Hannah van der Westhuizen as Stella, Elisha Applebaum as Musa with Freddie Thorp as Riven (Musa’s love partner), Precious Mustapha as Aisha. Robert James-Collier will do other characters as Silva, Theo Graham as Dane, Sadie Soverall as Beatrix, Eliot Salt as Terra, Jacob Dudman as Sam. There are still many actors whose characters are kept in secret to give its audience the most awaiting surprise they are waiting for.

Trailer- first Impression

Its first trailer was released on 9th December 2020. At first impression, we get the idea that it will not be the most colorful and sparkling series that we would expect after watching the animated series. This is something on a different level. As the executive producer has called it, edgier and darker than we the fans can ever imagine, it will be more chiller, thrilling, adventurous, and romantic than the animated version. Despite this, we, the fans, are more impatiently waiting for the release date to come. Because we, who grew up watching Winx Club on Nickelodeon, will get to see our childhood heroes and heroines coming to live in full blood and flesh.

Release date and final words

This web series is a fantastic young adult series combining fantasy, science fiction, friendship, love, drama, action, school romance, etc., to mesmerize and spellbound every audience of different ages.
