The action game franchise of Guilty Gear, is one of the best places to start from. Created by Arc Systems, the first game of the franchise dropped in 1998. The game will follow the rich footsteps of its predecessors. Fans were first announced about the arrival of the game during Evo 2019. The game was still in works back then, and a release date was not announced. It was later revealed that the game is eyeing a release in 2020.

Takashi Yamanaka- the game’s producer, made fans aware of the news. But the wait is not going to belong. As it is set for a release on April 6, 2021.

The game is set to revolutionize the series. While that will become more apparent once it officially releases, there are a few positives already. Firstly it appears the movement of the avatars in-game is going to become a lot more dynamic. A new “Dash” ability is being added. And similarly using the various attacks is going to get a lot more challenging.
Players will have to learn several new motions. The game has also focused on improving the realism for a better experience. One such instance is when a player is thrown at the wall. He is not going to strike and fall immediately but slide down slowly. Similarly, there is going to be a lot of opportunities to earn points with combos and other acting techniques.

The game will begin soon after the events of Guilty Gear Xrd: Revelator. A conflict does not appear to be far away. It was evident in the last game that a fight between humans and Gears might break out soon. And though there is limited information about the upcoming season, that fight is supposed to take center stage. But the question remains, whether this fight will be enough to bring peace.
