“A completely new Guilty Gear” is on the way. Daisuke Ishiwatari states that the upcoming game, Guilty Gear -STRIVE-is now revolutionizing. The game is out at Evo 2019.

Guilty Gear: Strive is to release as the seventh mainline installment. Overall, this is its twenty-fourth release.

Created by Daisuke Ishiwatari, Guilty Gear had made its debut release on May 14, 1998. The latest installment, titled Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2, is release on May 25, 2017. The guilty Gear franchise is highly praising for its visual graphics, soundtrack, and fighting engine. The gameplay is highly technical, and it is considering as a cult among the players.

Platforms for the Release of Guilty Gear: Strive

Guilty Gear: Strive game will release on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Steam. It might also release on Nintendo Switch.

The arcade version of Guilty Gear: Strive will be distributed Sega Interactive’s ALL.Net P-ras MULTI Version 3. Guilty Gear is ranked as one of the most excellent 2D fighting game.

Guilty Gear- Strive is initially releasing by the end of this year. But it is delaying due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

The producer of Guilty Gear, Takeshi Yamanaka, made the official announcement for the delay of the game. The team is now using the time to make some more improvements to the game. “We have decided to set up a schedule to further improve the quality of the game responding to everyone’s help and feedback from the recently closed beta test”, Yamanaka added.

The original plan for the reboot of the Guilty Gear franchise is out in the summer of 2019. Developed by Arc System Works, Guilty Gear- Strive is slated to release in early 2021.

Characters in Guilty Gear: Strive

Sol Badguy is the flagship character for this franchise. Returning to Guilty Gear- Strive, he will be back as a fighter. This time he will fight with solid anti-air and a remarkably good rush down.

Ky Kiske is another essential character. His move set with flashy projectiles makes him a reasonably strong beginner character.

May has some exceptional qualities in pushing down the opponent. With simple yet effective moves, including Mr. Dolphin’s moves, it helps her to close the distance quickly. She is popular for her sea-life themed special powers.

Axl uses his kusari-gama to deal with the distance from a distance. His keep-away move set fascinates the defensive players.

Chipp Zanuff’s combo-boosting wall runs, and other such speeds and mixup movements make him a unique character.

Potemkin’s command grabs are powerful. This makes him a high-damage grappler.

Faust is quite a unique one in the character list. His moves are unprecedented and tricky. He also makes use of items randomly to produce different effects.

Dual-katana cyber samurai is not yet named in the character list. This unnamed character is featuring in the trailer. Millia Rage and Zato-1 are also there in the trailer. Twelve characters are confirming so far. Of this, eleven are returning characters on the fighter roster.
