The inspiration is from a 1960 film of the same name. It follows two friends, Danny Ocean and Rusty Ryan. Ocean’s ex-wife, Tess, has a lover by the name Terry Benedict who is a wealthy casino owner. And Danny and Rusy plan a heist of 160 million dollars from the casino.
As the name of the film suggests, the story is about a man who is stuck at an airport terminal. Viktor Navorski arrives at John F. Kennedy airport and does not get permission to enter the country. He is a European man, but his passport becomes invalid due to a military coup in his country. He cannot go back, and he cannot enter the States.
Sleepless In Seattle
With its setting in Seattle, the story follows Sam Baldwin, who is an architect. He lives in Chicago and loses his wife to cancer. They have an eight-year-old son, Jonah. The father and son shift to Seattle and grieve their loss for more than a year. Then Jonah encourages Sam to talk about his love story on a radio talk show, and events escalate from there.
Full of action and comedy, the story’s inspiration is from Adler Berriman “Barry” Seal. He was a commercial airline pilot who gets involved in drug smuggling with the Medellin Cartel. He was working for the CIA before involving himself in questionable activities. Later, Seal becomes an informant for the DEA.
The setting of this film is in Boston. Here the state police of Massachusetts send an imposter into an Irish Mob group, and the Mob sends an imposter inside the police force. And the two imposters try to find preferable intel that will help their concerned authorities.
