Knightfall is one of the most notable projects of the History Channel. The show has the background theme of medieval times and has enough drama, politics, and action to keep fans entertained. The show is available to stream on Netflix, with two seasons having collective 18 episodes. Unfortunately for the fans, the creators have officially canceled the show for any more seasons. But there is still some hope regarding the renewal of the show.

Knightfall Season 3: Release Date
The first season of the show hit the streaming services back in December 2017, and the following season came in May 2019. The third season of the show was to release in June this year initially. But Deadline reported about the show’s cancellation in May 2020. However, there seems a ray of hope among the fans. Since Netflix holds the rights to the show as well and keeping in mind the large fan base of the show, Netflix might decide to continue with the series. Netflix has given many such series a helping hand, which later became one of the most successful properties later, like Lucifer.
Although, Netflix has yet to make any comment regarding the matter.
Knightfall Season 3: Cast
From the creators, Don Handfield and Richard Rayner, Knight fall had a promising cast. The show’s cast included Tom Cullen as Landry, Jim Carter as Pope Boniface VIII, Mark Hamill as Master Talus, Ed Stoppard as King Philip, Sarah Sofie Boussnina as Adelina, Pádraic Delaney as Gawain, Simon Merrells as Tancrède De Hauteville, Julian Ovenden as William De Nogaret and Tom Forbes as Prince Louis of France with few others.
Knightfall Season 3: Storyline
Knightfall chronicles tell the mysterious but real accounts of the Knights Templar, the elite warriors of the Crusades. It digs into the great secrets protected by the Templars. The show tells the story of faith, loyalty, and brotherhood that help sustain these warriors on the battlefield and the dark events that would forever sear the infamous date of Friday the 13th into the world’s psyche.
The season 2 ended with Landry and his templar brothers escaping from the fire set by King Philip. While running, they encounter enslaved Lydia and finally free her. While it is unclear as to what intentions do Prince Louis hides? It seemed that he lets Landry and the Templars escape even when he had a chance to get them caught. Later in the final moments of the episode, he aligns himself with Landry. In the end, Ann gets hit with two arrows and dies. Landry finally confronts King Philip in a one on one fight and plunges a sword into his chest. With Louis now becoming the new king, the question remains that will he follow his father’s footsteps and force Isabella to marry the king of England?
Unfortunately, the show left the fans with many such cliffhangers, although there is still a chance that the show might return, and fans must keep their eyes peeled for it. Until then, stay tuned to remain updated about everything related to Knight Fall season 3.
