The developer of the game, Tymon Smektala has already commented that the game is in its last stretch of development.
The initial release date was to be set around last year’s spring season. The game was then delayed because of the effects of the Pandemic COVID-19.
Since then, there hasn’t been any definite news about the release of the game. PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Microsoft Windows are the following platforms where Dying Light 2 will be released.
What is the gameplay of Dying Lying 2?
The gameplay of Dying Light will now focus on expanding the scope of the world.
It will increase the freedom of parkour and will have more impacts on the environment of the decisions made from now on.
Tymon Smektala in one of his interviews comments that the game will take about “15 to 20 hours for the main story,” whereas everything else within the world could take “more than 100 hours” of playtime to complete.
This time, in the action of parkour where the player will be more free-flowing in the environment around. In the new game, one can see the player doing highly equipped stuff. He can now climb vents, hop-off buildings, slow the fall by stabbing a pair of scissors into a cloth, swing by and kick the enemy off a ledge.
The player can now make his weapons by collecting resources available. The game will have dungeons, puzzles, and scavengers in their attacking side. The game will now have an addition to it known as the grappling hook which can be used in the battles in innovative ways.

Aiden Caldwell is an infected survivor. He has innate combat abilities he could use to survive in the dying world.

The player has two choices initially at the beginning of the game. One can either join these survivors or carry out the mission and retrieve this water supply.
The player if goes by the first decision will have nuanced resources and primary source of trading while in the second choice, the Peacekeepers will restore the stability of certain areas allowing the availability of water to the civilians.
This time the multiplayer choices will be a little different. It will have a limit of up to four players but the progress will be a little different for the others as compared to the host player. As mentioned before it is a choice based game, the progress will be affected by the choice each player makes.
