The player has the option of looting crates and customizing their characters with various equipment, parts and specific abilities. The storyline centres Batman who tries to restore the society after the fall of Superman. But with the arrival of a newly formed supervillain group and other alien forces, Batman is forced to free the imprisoned Superman to tackle the threats.

Batman: Arkham Asylum

Batman: Arkham Asylum is the prequel to Batman: Arkham City and came out in 2009. The game focuses Batman and his arch enemy Joker, who traps him inside with many of his incarnated foes. Joker plans to take control of the asylum and threatens Batman to blow up Gotham city with hidden bombs. The game is an RPG inside the asylum where Batman could move freely, take up tasks and unlock new parts as the story progresses ahead. 

Batman: The Telltale Series


Batman: The telltale series was launched in 2016 and is an episodic point-and-click video game. The whole game is divided into episodes and is also available to play on android and iOS devices with other consoles and PC. The game has five episodes in total. The player chooses what happens next in the storyline and could even choose to approach any event as either Batman or Bruce Wayne.

Gotham City Impostors

Gotham City Impostors is a multiplayer first-person shooting game which came out in 2012. The game consists of two teams of six players each. These team dresses up as either Batman or Joker and fight each other to death. The player can customize his/her character and choose from a large variety of weapons, including both traditional and imagined to battle out with the other team. The game has four different modes with the traditional Team Death Match and a subtle incarnation of Capture the Flag mode.

DC Universe Online

As the name suggests, this game is purely an online game. The game allows its players to create a new superhero and then enter the world of the DC Universe and live through the open-world experience. The player can customize his/her hero with options like Gender, Faction (hero or villain), body type, personality, movement mode and powers and weapons. The storyline of the game follows the future Lex Luthor releasing ‘exobytes’ in the present time. These ‘exobytes’ allows normal humans to turn into a superhero or villain. As the player progresses, it could become a member of the Justice League and other team-ups.
