Marvel’s Moon Knight Season 1 Release Date, Cast, Plot, And Trailer

The anti-hero which is compared to be harder than Deadpool is coming to the big screen soon as a TV show.

In October 2015, The Punisher and Daredevil, it was rumoured that Netflix wanted to present Moon Knight in one of their Marvel arrangement, before giving him his own arrangement. Following the arrangement request of The Punisher in April 2016, a few reports pronounced that Netflix was creating three other vigilante arrangement about Blade, Ghost Rider and Moon Knight.

On August 23, 2019, Kevin Feige reported that Marvel Studios was building up a real to life arrangement about Moon Knight for Disney+. In November 2019, it was accounted for that Jeremy Slater would fill in as the showrunner of the arrangement.

In December 2019, Kevin Feige uncovered that the arrangement is required to envelop creation by late 2020.

On February 26, 2020, it was accounted for that the arrangement will start shooting in November, in Atlanta and Los Angeles, under the working title “Great Faith.”

Moon Knight Season 1: Release Date


There hasn’t been any news regarding the release date of the TV series. As there are quite a few series ahead of it in the production line, it could take a while. The series is officially going to start shooting in Atalanta in November 2020, but it is not expected to be released until at least 2022.

As the show premiere is very far away, it would be controversial to predict any of the cast members.

But we can have calculated guesses about the actors who are likely to be involved.

President of Marvel Studios, Kevin Feige revealed in an interview that “We talk to Keanu Reeves for almost every film we make. I don’t know when he’ll join the MCU. But we very much want to figure out the right way to do it”.

And no actor other than Keanu Reeves Keanu would bring the perfect balance of intense pondering and fighting skills to the role.

This is where the exciting part comes in. The first season of Moon Knight will introduce this superhero to the majority of the audience except for the comic book nerds.

That means the first season will solely focus on the origin story of the character. But the superhero has one of the most peculiar origin stories. So it will be a challenge for Marvel to stay faithful to the comics.
