Four years after its finale in 2016, fans never stopped asking more of Wallander that aired from 2008 to 2016 for four seasons on BBC Network. Although the show ended, and show makers had no intention of another season for the show, they will return to remake a prequel to the show.
The show was based on the Wallander novels, written by Author Henning Mankell, which is now getting a spin-off series. It will exclusively be launched on Netflix.

Young Wallander will follow the life of Kurt Wallander, Henning Mankell’s famous police inspector, in his 20s. We will see Kurt, who had just graduated. Becoming a police officer who investigates his first gripping case.
The show is a spinoff series to famous long-running show Wallander and will be set in Sweden
