The movie was initially set to release on 13 August 2020 but was delayed due to ongoing coronavirus pandemic. It will now hit the big screens on 29 January 2021.
The movie is directed by Hamish Grieve and is a property of Paramount Pictures.
The voice-over actors for the film will include Ben Schwartz, Terry Crews as Tentacularis, Will Arnett as Steve, Geraldine Viswanathan as Winnie, and WWE stars Roman Reigns and Becky Lynch.

The trailer for the upcoming movie was released on youtube four months ago. It shows Terry Crews’ voice over the character as the undefeatable champion of Monster Wrestling, Tentacularis.
While on the other hand, the main protagonist (name TBA) struggles to train to enter the wrestling world. He is a lovable monster being taught by a teenage girl to make him the world’s next undefeatable champion.
We still haven’t got the glimpse of other characters of the movie, though we expect upcoming trailers to shed light on this soon.
The movie looks promising with a new concept and impressive VFX and animation.
The official synopsis of the movie, according to Paramount Pictures, is as follows.
“In reality, as we know it where beast wrestling is a worldwide game and beasts are genius competitors, adolescent Winnie looks to emulate her dad’s example by instructing a loveable dark horse beast into a victor.”
