Originally brought to us in 1996, Mission: Impossible an American action spy film series that is based on the television series of the same name created by Bruce Geller. The series is co-produced by and stars Tom Cruise, whose character is Ethan Hunt, an agent of the Impossible Missions Force.

The movie series has been one of Tom Cruise’s most notable successes. It is a fan favourite and is officially on its way, bringing us the seventh movie. And…an eighth! Yes, we know what we said. And yes, it’s true. The franchise has confirmed that two more Mission Impossible movies will be joining the family- not just one.

The movie was set to begin filming in Venice before the coronavirus pandemic took over the globe. Obviously, as with all productions and filming, a sudden halt had to be implemented. But it has been reported that they are set to resume filming in Britain now.

The movie was originally set for July 23, 2021. release. But the above-mentioned coronavirus pandemic forced a delay. The new date now stands on November 19, 2021. The eighth movie, which Tom Cruise has confirmed is filming back to back with the seventh sequel, is set to release on November 4, 2022.

Hayley Atwell, Pom Klementieff, and Shea Whigham have also been cast, reportedly as main characters. Their roles remain undisclosed, though.
