Last Night In Soho is an upcoming psychological horror movie. The movie follows the story of a young woman who on her road to becoming a fashion designer as she’d always dreamed somehow mysteriously landed up in the 1960s instead. It isn’t entirely cursed though- she encounters her idol, a dazzling wannabe singer. But 1960s London is not what it seems, and time seems to have no face when a whirlwind of devious consequences begin to follow.
Now we all know psychological thrillers and horrors are a popular genre, its an even bigger niche than horror movies themselves- which we all know is one of the most popular types. Why do you ask? Because it falls right in the middle of fiction and non-fiction. We’re all sceptical about the existence of the supernatural. But what about humans that possess evil? What terrifies us more? Last Night In Soho combines both fantasy and reality in this one frame.
The next movie from Baby Driver director Edgar Wright, Last Night in Soho, will be released in the theatres on April 23, 2021.
The Focus Features and Universal Pictures film originally had a release date of September 25.
More about the movie
The film is inspired by films such as Nicolas Roeg‘s Don’t Look Now and Roman Polanski‘s Repulsion, because Wright use to watch these movies and eventually got inspired to make one himself and this one involves a load of time travel.
The filming for the movie began on May 23, 2019, and wrapped up on August 30, 2019. The director posted several photos on his Instagram account. The shooting was finished on August 5, 2020.
