His Dark Materials

James McAvoy, Dafne Keen

The show has one of the most remarkable sets of actors to play the characters of the story. This includes the likes of Dafne Keen and Lyra Belacqua, Kit Connor as Pantalaimon, Amir Wilson as Will Parry, Andrew Scott as Colonel John Parry, and others.

The official trailer for the show isn’t out yet since the production could not be completed, although we could soon expect an official trailer or teaser.

The show is a straight away adaption of His Dark Materials trilogy novels by Philip Pullman. It follows the life of Lyra, a young orphan from an alternate world. She goes on a quest to find her missing friend while staying with a group of scholars from oxford. This leads her to discover a secret that is related to several kidnappings.

The upcoming season will follow the second book of the trilogy. As we saw, Brauch dies while on his way to Lord Asriel in the finale. Also, we can expect Will to join Lyra in Cittàgazze in the upcoming season.
