Cash Truck Release Date, Cast and More

Directed and written by Guy Ritchie, the action thriller movie, Cash Truck is to hit the theatres soon. Produced by Ivan Atkinson and Bill Block, the movie is based on a French film Le Convoyeur, released in 2004 starring Jean Dujardin and Albert Dupontel.

Starring Jason Statham in the lead role, Statham and Ritchie have previously worked together on various movies like Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. Seems like we’ll get to see both the actors working together again for Cash Truck! Ritchie had officially announced that the filming was wrapped up in January itself and hence the pandemic has not affected the shooting schedule of the movie.

Ritchie had tweeted this news with the caption, “That’s a wrap on #UntitledGuyRitchieJasonStathamProject. However, the working title “Cash Truck” has been adopted as the official title of this action thriller movie. So, there you have it! Cash Truck is coming! Jump on!

In the lead role we will see Jason Statham as Harry “H”, Holt McCallany as Bullet, Laz Alonso as Carlos and Chris Reilly as Tim. Besides them, Jeffrey Donovan, Scott Eastwood, Josh Hartnett, Niamh Algar, Raúl Castillo and Post Malone will also star in this movie. We might see a host of other actors and actresses playing other minor roles.

Produced by Miramax, and MGM’s UA, the upcoming action thriller movie, Cash Truck will hit the screens in US theatres on January 15, 2021. Like we said, the release schedule if Cash Truck WILL NOT be affected due to the pandemic and will release at the announced date.

Statham in the role of H will be seen as a cold character who is quite mysterious not unlike other roles that Statham has done in the past. H works at a cash truck company, and this company is mainly responsible for moving a considerable amount of money around Los Angeles every week.
