PLOT
The show revolves around Violet Evergarden and is set in the aftermath of a war. Violet, who was once a young female soldier, is now getting a job at the writer’s agency and goes on assignments to write letters that connect people.
Violet was an Auto Memory Doll who loses searches for her life’s purpose further now since the war is over and to understand the last words of her dying major, which was “I Love You.”
SPECULATION
Although showmakers have remained tightly lipped about the plot for the second season, we can expect them to very well continue with manga storyline.
The show might also show deeper romance between Violet and Gilbert.
