Violet Evergarden is a Japenese Drama Anime. It is an emotional centric anime with a light background theme. The show is based on the manga of the same name and is currently airing on Netflix. The show has one season with 13 episodes with approximately 24 min time duration each.

The sequel of the show was initially set to release in mid-2020 but was delayed due to ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Although it was reported to release in mid-2020, no official announcement is made yet.

Violet was an Auto Memory Doll who loses searches for her life’s purpose further now since the war is over and to understand the last words of her dying major, which was “I Love You.”
Although showmakers have remained tightly lipped about the plot for the second season, we can expect them to very well continue with manga storyline.
The show might also show deeper romance between Violet and Gilbert.
The manga was also made into a full feature animated movie which was set to release in 2020.
