The Plot For The Show

Though Netflix gives a summary, it does not clear up much. The review by Netflix is a bit blurry. It does not go beyond what is already told. The first season of the show, or some part of it, will borrow from the first Bridgerton novel, The Duke and I.

It focuses on Simon Bassett and Daphne Bridgerton. They stage a fake relationship to keep Simon free from the marriage-minded society mothers. And also to raise interest in Daphne. Though, while carrying out the plan, Daphne starts to fall in love with the Duke. They are thus making the decision to try to win him over.
