JOURNEY TOWARDS VISUAL-MAKING FROM A BOOK SERIES
The famous fantasy novel series, namely ‘THE WHEEL OF TIME,’ written by Robert Jordan and later completed by Brandon Sanderson in 2013 due to it was author died in 2007, is now turning towards the road of visual-making taking shelter in Amazon Prime. The show will be produced by Sony Pictures Television and Amazon Studios and, therefore, will be showcased on Amazon Prime Video.
The book has been one of the epic fantasy series with millions of copies sold worldwide and a strong fan-base across the globe.
ALL ABOUT THE RELEASE
There is no confirmed date for the release of the first season of this show. It’s shooting began on September 19, 2019, and was expected to end this May, but due to the pandemic, it’s production was paused in March and will not be revived until the situation becomes better.
However, the executive producer of this show, Rafe Judkin, has confirmed that the members of the team are still trying to do what can be done from home.
The production was based in Prague, with shooting have taken place in the Czech Republic and Slovenia. Rumours have it that shooting has also taken place at St. Wenceslas Church in the Czech Republic.
Rosamund Pike leads the cast as Moraine, the Aes Sedai character who acts as a mentor and guide to her other charges. Others include Joshua Stradowski as Rand al’Thor, Marcus Rutherford as Perrin Aybara, Zoe Robbins as Nynaeve, and many others. There will also be four new faces in the show for the American viewers.
WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
The show is about five people who are on the mission to save the world. The show revolves around a young female protagonist named Moiraine, who is a member of a powerful, all women organization of magic users, which is called by the name of an Aes Sedai.
She takes a group of five people from their home village following an attack by the forces of the dark one, an evil entity.
It is supposed that season 1 will be entirely based on the initial book of the series named ‘ THE EYE OF THE WORLD.’ So far, it has already been announced that there will be eight episodes for season 1, and their name has also been announced.

Based on the information available [from the books itself], one can make certain predictions of how the show will be there have been numerous fan theories based on this.
