An American political thriller, Designated Survivor, has had three seasons up until now. The first season premiered on September 21, 2016, followed by the second season on September 27, 2017, on ABC. However, the third season was renewed by Entertainment One and Netflix and aired on June 7, 2019, on Netflix.

Even with considerable success, Netflix in July 2019 announced that the show has officially been canceled. Hence, as of now, there is no season four coming out. This has deeply disappointed fans around the world. However, the streaming platform is going to continue streaming the first three seasons for years to come.

Designated Survivor Season 4: Plot and Trailer
After a major attack at the Capitol Building on the night of the State of the Union, the President and all other successors in line get killed. There is only one designated survivor left that is the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, Thomas Kirkman.
After the attack, he is suddenly promoted to the President as he is the only survivor. However, he isn’t aware of what is yet to come, and the attack was only the beginning. He not only has to govern the country but also uncover the truth behind the attack. David Guggenheim creates the thriller series.
The three beautiful seasons came to an end after Netflix announced that the show wouldn’t be renewed for a fourth season. In the future, there might be a slight possibility. However, the option for renewal is very bleak. Hence, there are neither official dates nor trailers for the same. But you can enjoy the three seasons that are going to be on Netflix for quite some time.
