What if Tony Stark had not died in Avengers: Endgame? Or What if Starlord had taken the gauntlet off Thanos? If you are also one of us who’d want to see an alternate ending to all those crushing moments or for that matter any instance in the MCU, you’re at the right place.
What if…? Will be the first animated series since Marvel Studios started their own production company. It will be an anthology series that the studio is creating for Disney+.
A.C. Bradley is the creator and also the head writer of the series with Bryan Andrews as the director. The concept seems so exciting and we cannot keep calm. Let’s find out when it will release and other details.
When Will What if…? Season 1 Release?
The series had been in development since September 2018 for Disney+ headed by Kevin Feige. It is expected to debut in summer 2021 in phase four of MCU. The first season will have 10 episodes which will be released weekly rather than a complete package altogether.
Footage from the first episode of What if…? Was shown at the D23 convention in 2019 which looked very promising.
To top it all, the series has already been renewed for a second season as well.
