Better Call Saul is yet another cinematic masterpiece from director Vince Gilligan. Being a prequel to Breaking Bad, the series, in many respects, has surpassed the original series. Set in the mid-2000s, the show familiarizes fans with the story of Saul Goodman and his journey.

The series has set the world on fire, with the fans of the original series going crazy over the series. It has already on air for five seasons since its debut in 2015. And it seems that the series has one final chapter to unfold before it comes to an end.

Better Call Saul Season 6: Release Date

Unfortunately, there is sad news for the fans of the show. Your wait for the last season has just been prolonged. The series began its filming earlier this year. However, following the pandemic, that had to bring to a halt.

Initially, the show was looking at a possible early 2021 release, which would have been perfect with the fans. But following the disruptions in filming, that date has now been pushed back. While there have not been any announcements about when that might be, reports suggest it should be sometime in mid-2021.

By now, you already know who will be there in the cast for the final season. However, the creators do love to shock us with a cameo here and there. Bob Odenkirk will once again be in front of the camera as Jimmy/ Saul.

Brilliant Rhea Seehorn and Jonathan Banks will once again join him. Michael Mando is going nowhere just yet as well. At the same time, the turf war between Giancarlo Esposito’s Fring and Tony Dalton’s Lalo does not seem to ease yet.

Gilligan told Rolling Stone, “I think the landing is going to get stuck … It’s going to be awesome, and it’s going to be satisfying. It may be more of a wait for it, but it’s going to be worth the wait. That’s the headline.”

Gould added, “My short version is: We’re going to try not to screw it up.”
