If you thought The Conjuring franchise was over, think again. For the horror movie franchise is returning with its seventh movie. Directed by Michael Chaves, the movie will join the franchise that also includes Annabelle series and The Nun.

The film will look to add to the tremendous success of the series. The Conjuring franchise has made a sprawling legacy for itself. The series has been a commercial success for Warner Bros. The expectations from the latest film are high.

The Conjuring 3 The Devil Made Me Do It:
When is it Releasing?

It seems an eternity since the sequel to Conjuring 2 was announced. The film released in 2016 and just a few months later its next chapter was announced. But given the expansion the franchise has seen, it took a long time coming.

But it seems all that wait is finally drawing to a close. Warner Bros has announced the film to hit theaters on September 11, 2020.

With the current health crisis that date seems awfully risky. However as we have seen in the case of Tenet, WB is willing to take that risk.

Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga have been a part of the franchise since its debut. They seem to be going nowhere. And as this movie is going to be based on another documentation by Ed and Lorraine, their departure would make no sense.

Further joining them will be Sterling Jerins and Bonnie Aarons. It is unlikely for any other character from the first two films to appear. Even then Shannon Kook is expected to feature in this film.

The Conjuring 3 The Devil Made Me Do It:
What is the Story?

The movie is going to be based on one of the most iconic trials in U.S. history. In 1981 a man on trial for murder made a startling claim. He claimed to be under the possession of a witch.

That iconic case seems to be the inspiration behind the movie. It was also the first time that an accused claimed demonic possession. Other than that, we have very little information released by Warner Bros. Luckily, and we won’t have to wait for long.
