Sense of relief came for Korean drama fans, as Netflix renewed romantic comedy, Love Alarm Season 2. Director Lee Na-Jeong stated in his interview that if the only first season was a hit, then they will go for the second season. Based on Webtoon of the same name, season 1 was proved to be a hit and positively accepted by the fans, and in October 2019, Netflix greenlit its season 2.
Here is all the latest update on the upcoming season.
Release Date
The second season scheduled to drop in August 2020. But ongoing pandemic halted the production, and till now makers are tight-lipped on its official release date. There is only little modification to be done on season 2, so we are expecting that Love Alarm Season 2 to drop this year alone.
Cast
All the main characters will reprise their role in the second session. Song Kang will play as lead Hwang Sun-oh and Kim So-Hyun appear as Kim Jo-Jo. Besides, Jung Ga-ram as lee Hye-young, Z. Hera as Kim, Shin Seung-ho as II-sik, Go Min-si as Park Gul-mi will appear.
Additional cast members are Song Sun-mi, Shim Yi-young, Song Geon-hee, Park Sung-Yun, Yeom Ji-young will make a comeback.
Love Alarm Season 2 Storyline
Season 2 will pick up from a cliffhanger where its first season left us. In season 1, Jojo realises that she has two suitors. Not only Lee Hye-Yeon adores her, but also Hwang Sun-oh is smitten by her. She has not yet revealed her feelings to anyone, nor do we know who she will choose, and what new twist her relationship will bring to both of them. It will be revealed in the second season.
