The official Instagram account of Sex Education has recently confirmed that filming for season 3 will begin in August 2020, so a third season is on the way.
Here’s all that we know about it!
Sex Education is a British comedy-drama web series that you can stream on Netflix. Created by Laurie Nunn, the series premiered on 11 January 2019. The first season had over 40 million streams.
The second season, which was released on 17 January 2020, was even more successful.
The Plot of season 3: [SPOILER ALERT]
The last episode of Sex Education gave us all a whirlwind of emotions.
Otis proposed to Maeve on voice note but Issac deleted the message before she could hear. Otis’ mother Jean who is a single woman finds out that she is pregnant.
The father is probably Jakob, Ola’s father. Season 3, therefore, will focus on Otis and Maeve’s relationship with Issac creating an obstruction.
It will also tell us what Jean finally decides. Meanwhile, Eric and Adam will now be dating, but their relationship will be full of ups and downs.
The list of the cast members has not yet been announced. However, we know for sure who all are going to return. Because without them the show just cannot run. We will therefore see:
- Asa Butterfield as Otis Milburn
- Ncuti Gatwa as Eric Effiong
- Emma Mackey as Maeve Wiley
- Gillian Anderson as Dr Jean F. Milburn
- Connor Swindells as Adam Groff
The Release Date:
