Altered Carbon is among the top science fiction on Netflix. Based on Richard Morgan’s Novel with the same name, the series focuses on a captive and his revival. After two successful seasons, the Sci-Fi saga is in the news for another one. Read on to find out all there’s to know about it.
Release Date for Altered Carbon Season 3:
Season one launched in 2018, and two decades later, Netflix brought season two. Yet, the fans eagerly await the third one. Sadly, there is no detailed information about the third season’s launch date. However, unlike the second season’s release, we expect the third trailer to come out sooner. If it does, the fans will have Season 3 by next year.
What will season 3 be about?
Last season of the show took off from the two novels in AC’s trilogy from Richard Morgan, Broken Furies, and Woken Angels. So we can expect the series to resume researching those. The creators brought new components to the show, which the audience appreciated. It may continue doing so.
Season two ended with a cliffhanger. The essential question after Season two is: what happened to his Reileen and Kovacs? Also, the fans expect Poe’s relationship with Dig to be more prominent.
“What I’d love to continue investigating in season three that this job was done in season two, what does it mean to have reckoned with these demons?” said Showrunner Schapker.
Who will return for the third season?
If the writers and showrunners decide to re-sleeve each season, Anthony Mackie might not return. The actor told The Hollywood Reporter that he’s not ready to say goodbye to his role just yet. “I hope I get the chance to bring Kovacs back next season. I’m not prepared,” he explained.
Although there are not enough inputs on this topic, we have a few guesses on possible reprisals. The fans can expect Will Yun Lee as Kovacs Prime, Chris Conner as Edgar Poe, and Renée Elise as Quellcrist. We might also see Simone Missick as Trepp and Dina Shihabi as Dig 301.
