Carnival Row Season 2 Release Date, Cast, Plot And What’s More?

The American web series, Carnival Row is coming up on Amazon Prime with its season 2. It premiered for the first time in August 2019 and in July itself Amazon announced that it had been renewed for its second season. René Echevarria and Travis Beacham’s Carnival Row received mixed reviews from the audience.

It is also revealed that Travis Beecham is not going to continue with the web series. Now, Eric Olson will serve as the new showrunner.

Release Date

The fantasy series will drop in late 2020. However, no confirmation has been made by the makers. Filming of the web series is also at a standstill due to COVID-19, which means fans will have to wait a bit to get a solid date for Carnival Row.

In an interview, the makers revealed that they had more than 4 weeks of filming, so we cannot expect it to be released in 2020, as will take its time in production, editing.


In season 2 Orlando Bloom will reprise his role as Rycroft Philostrate. Along with him, Cara Delevingne as Vignette Stonemoss, David Gyasi as Agreus Astrayon would appear. If rumours to be believed then we expect Katy Perry can also make a guest appearance in the second season.

What will be the plot of Carnival Row season 2?

The new season will continue where season one ended. Its next season will decide foe’s fate and clash with Joanna Breakspear’s alliance. In the new season, fans can expect the love for Imogen and Agrus to blossom and see their participation in the Battle of the fae.
