There are only a few superheroes as iconic as The Batman, and donning the role of the caped hero is our beloved Hollywood Star, Robert Pattinson. The Batman will be produced by DC Films and distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures.
Pattinson has revealed his surprise for being chosen for the role. In an interview with Esquire, he spoke about how everything has caught him dumbfounded. “It’s kind of insane. I was so far away from ever thinking it was a realistic prospect.
I do not understand how I’ve got it at all.” The fans, however, cannot contain their excitement over the new The Batman in the Superhero league.
The former Batman, Christian Bale, also talks about the new casting. Variety recorded his words, “Good choice! He’s interesting. I’m sure he’ll come up with something exciting.”
The Batman will be developed as the tenth film in the DC Extended Universe (DCEU) and a reboot of the Batman film franchise.
The cast of The Batman
While Robert Pattinson will be seen in the role of Bruce Wayne / Batman, Zoë Kravitz will play the iconic role of Selina Kyle or the Catwoman.
Paul Dano will play the role of Edward Nashton or Riddler. Jeffrey Wright will be seen as James Gordon: The Gotham City Police Department commissioner and an ally of Batman.

As per the sources, The Batman is due in US cinemas on 25 June 2021 as set by The Warner Bros. Pictures.
In footage shared by the director Matt Reeves, we get the first look of our caped crusader with dark and foreboding music in the background. We also get a glimpse of Pattinson’s batsuit.
But with the shutdown of the Hollywood Projects to grapple with the outbreak of Covid-19, Matt Reeves has lately confirmed of the halt of the production due to the coronavirus pandemic.
