BBC’s Killing Eve, the popular British suspense and spy TV series will be back this year.
With both the first and second season of the series showing great promise and success, BBC confirmed renewing Killing Eve for two more seasons in January 2020.
When does the Killing Eve air?
Season 3 will air on the BBC in the UK, and on 14 February 2020, it was announced that the third season will premiere on 26 April 2020.
Many production houses have stopped work due to the coronavirus crisis, but BBC has not yet announced any delay in the release, hence we can assume there won’t be any, yet.
Killing Eve Season 3: Who is returning?
Professional killer Jodie Comer will return as Villanelle, Sandra Oh will return as Eve Polastri.
Other main cast members include Owen MacDonnell, as Eve’s currently isolated Niko Polastri will return, and Kim Bodnia will return as the villain’s handler and father figure, Constantine.
Nina Sosanya will return as Jess and Edward Bluemel as Hugo in the upcoming season.
Killing Eve Season 3: Is the trailer for Killing Eve season 3 out?
No trailer has been released as of now. BBC uploaded pictures from Season 3 of Killing Eve on its social media account on Twitter with a hint that a trailer was coming soon.
Earlier this month BBC dropped a brand new teaser which showed both leading actresses dressed head-to-toe in red, with psychopath Villanelle holding what appears to be some sort of scalpel.
During the 15-second clip, Villanelle can be seen running the sharp tool across her lips before staring directly into the camera. The clip then flashes between the two women before Villanelle can be seen holding up the scalpel.
Killing Eve Season 3: What can we expect from Season 3?
Villanelle has never touched upon her family history. We know her relationship with Konstantin ended, but Konstantin is still the closest she has to family.
Season 3 might reveal more of Oksana(Villanelle)’s family history and relationship. And the twisted mutual attraction between Eve and Villanelle is definitely something to look forward to.
