Actress Jamie King’s latest announcement filled fans with happiness and excitement.

She confirmed that the second season is in the works and hinted at some specific plot details. During an interview, she said that whatever the fans think will happen won’t happen.

Whatever Jamie said isn’t of much help right now, but it sure brought excitement to fans.

Black Summer 2 Release Date

The cast already began filming for the upcoming season in January 2020. The launch date is still yet to be revealed, but if we look at the first season, it started in July 2018 and ended in September of the same year. So, we could expect a release date in the summer of 2020 or 2021.

Jaime King would be back to reprise her role as Rose, Justin Chu Cary as Spears and Christine Lee Kyungsun.
John Hyams will be back as the director.
In an interview, Sal Velez Jr hinted that William would also return.

He said that just like Jon Snow had his revival and comeback, he thinks that since they don’t show the death of William. He’s going to leave it to the audience’s imagination to see what happens in the next season.

He said that he knows a lot of people would want to see William, but he doesn’t write or create it and that he’s not even allowed to say whether he did [die] or not.
