Unorthodox Season 1: Here is Trailer Breakdown

Unorthodox

We follow a young Esther Shapiro asking for help after she has fled to Berlin from Brooklyn without any money or education. As a young female of the Hasidic community in Brooklyn, she had married a suitor just the way society had wanted her to.

Once Esther has run away from there and landed in Berlin, a group of musicians take her under their wings. They take her to the beach, and we see her reveal her short-cropped. She throws her wig away, letting go of the past. But she is soon to find out that the past won’t let go of her. Will she survive in an unknown city all on her own? Will she be able to keep her new friends? With Yakov on her trail, things may take an ugly turn for her.
