As season one of His Dark Material was based on the novel ‘His Dark Materials Trilogy’ by Phillip Pullman, the second season will be following the next instalment, which is, ‘The Subtle Knife’.

The season will show Lyra continuing her search for her father along with her new companion Parry which has been played by Amir Wilson.

However, we can expect some changes as some elements of The Subtle Knife were already shown in season one. So makers might also give their own twists to the story and come out with something really exciting.
