God of War 5- Release
God of War developer, Santa Monica is yet to confirm the release of God of War sequel, part 5. Despite the shush, rumours about the sequel are all over the place! Especially after the playful spill about the latest gaming video by the director Cory Barlog.
What is to be expected out of the sequel?
Cory Barlog’s ‘coyish tease’ kind of lays grounds for excitement and anxiety regarding the release of the game! Fans have been waiting to explore further on the suspicion regarding the return of Kratos and Atreos in PlayStation 5.
On asking the gamers about the games that are much awaited for from their side, Marvel’s Spiderman 2, Uncharted five and God of War 5 listed out in the top 3 ranks. Barlog’s responded saying “ALL PLEASE <3” to his gaming audience.
Announcements about the date of release!
The audience ever since has been waiting for a formal announcement while Santa Monica is still keeping shut about the big news. Much excited Barlog had already explained Kotaku about his ideas for five new game plans to which he denied later! Santa Monica is hiring “Senior Combat Designer” having enough knowledge regarding God of War (2018).
This adds up to the flexibility of the rumours. Santa Monica even mentioned the requirements of in-depth knowledge regarding combat system, mechanics and enemies!
As reported by Inverse, the position is still available as of March 2020. Try your luck, suitors! God of war as a tag is removed from the requirements mentioned earlier to lay low. Too late, is it? This also means we’re much more close to its release!
Is it a PS5 launch? Return of Kratos and Atreos
The latest God of War game release is said to have taken up much of time, complicated logistics like a working game engine and labour-intensive mechanics. Barlog talks about how Santa Monica will need to re-enhance the engine for PS5 and write a new story.
The game is doubted upon to be a PS5 launch as news about it is yet not published. The return of ‘dad’ and ‘boy’ is a must, i.e. Kratos and Atreos as commented by Inverse.
