‘Venom’, the new Marvel introductory movie made $856 million. And now, it is coming back to return with a sequel.
Venom’s massive collection, compassing reviews, and fans reactions, all have been really contrasting. Still, Sony is developing it with the original movie’s co-writer, Kelly Marcel, back to write the screenplay.
Venom 2 Release Date
The release date isn’t confirmed, but it may be released on October 2, 2020, hopefully, if everything goes alright.
The first Venom hit theatres on October 5, 2018, so the second movie released almost exactly two years later would make a lot of sense.
Venom 2 Plot
Andy Serkis, the director of Venom, said:
“I CAN’T TELL YOU ANY IDEAS RIGHT NOW. I’M IN THE BEGINNING STAGES, BUT I HAVE SOME VERY CLEAR IDEAS ABOUT WHAT I WANT TO SEE VISUALLY, AND HOW WE CAN TAKE THE CHARACTERS TO ANOTHER DIMENSION.”
The producer of the movie said:
“THE HEART OF VENOM WAS ALWAYS THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN EDDIE AND VENOM. THESE TWO CHARACTERS, THESE TWO SIDES THAT HAD TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO LIVE TOGETHER AND THAT WE’RE SOMEHOW BETTER TOGETHER THAN THEY WERE SEPARATELY, OR MORE SUCCESSFUL, AND WHAT THAT MEANT.”
Marvel Studios boss Kevin Fiege said that a crossover “seems likely at some point,” while producer Amy Pascal being a massive fan of Tom Holland, never explicitly stated Holland would be in a Venom movie.
AMY PASCAL SAID ” WE HAVE BIG PLANS FOR TOM HOLLAND TO BE PART OF EVERYTHING. EVERY MOVIE WE EVER DO! HE NEEDS TO BE IN EVERY MOVIE THAT I EVER WORK ON! “
However, due to the previously ongoing negotiations between Sony and MCU, Spider-Man isn’t wholly ruled out of appearing in a Venom movie. The original director Ruben Fleischer said that a confrontation between the two is “where it’s all going to lead.”
