Based on graphic novels by Gaiman, Lucifer will be back with its last and final Season. Season 5 of the series will soon release on Netflix. The fifth Season is presently under production. Lucifer Season 5 Release Date:
A release date for the final season isn’t yet confirmed. It is predicted that the first eight episodes of will be out in spring or summer 2020. Since it’s the last Season, there might be a slight chance that Netflix extends the release to build the excitement.
The cast for the Finale Season
Tom Ellis and Lauren German will be back as Lucifer Morningstar and Detective Chloe Decker. There is also confirmation for Dennis Haysbert for his role of the great Almighty. Kevin Alejandro will likely reprise his role. We can also expect Lesley-Ann Brandt, Aimee Garcia, DB Woodside and Rachael Harris. There is a possible chance for Inbar Lavi, as told by Henderson.
The storyline for the fifth Season
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Henderson said: “We have a lot of exciting ways, and one way, in particular, to do it that launches an awesome, awesome season five.”
The Fourth Season had Lucifer returning to hell to resume his role as king. From the titles of the first five episodes, it seems that his responsibilities will hit him hard.
Being the last and final Season, the show will complete all characters so that no loose ends are left.
Chloe will come to terms with Lucifer and eventually understand his demonic side. There are hints for a fight sequence featuring Maze, with a lot of battles in the upcoming Season. The biggest plot to the finale Season will be for Lucifer to accept and decide what his duties and desires are.
