Eight years later after the original Netflix brought the series for Gilmore Girls back: A Year in the Life and viewers got to hear the four final words said by Lorelai(Lauren Graham) and Rory(Alexis Bledel) once again.
But, even a revival series left fans asking for a second season, and it looks good for the fans as it looks like the creators are coming back for season 2!!
The original Gilmore Girls:
Gilmore Girls, the original one, lasted for a whopping seven seasons which stopped airing in 2007.
It is an American comedy-drama television series created by Amy Sherman-Palladino and starring Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel.
The show premiered on October 5, 2000, on The WB and became a great series for the network.

After Netflix released Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life on November 25, 2016, Sherman-Palladino said in an interview and hinted on season 2 come back by saying:
“WE JUST WANT PEOPLE TO WATCH THESE. SOME PEOPLE HAVEN’T SEEN THEM YET,” SHERMAN-PALLADINO SAID AT THE TIME. “THIS WAS THE STORY THAT WE WANTED TO DO. WE WANTED TO DO THIS YEAR — A YEAR IN THE LIFE. SO WE ACCOMPLISHED WHAT WE WANTED TO DO.”
THE SHOWRUNNER ADDED: “WE DIDN’T GO IN THERE WITH ANY INTENTION OF WANTING TO DO MORE. THERE WERE NO DISCUSSIONS BETWEEN US AND WARNERS OR US AND NETFLIX OF HAVING ANYMORE. WE ALL WENT THROUGH THIS JOURNEY THINKING WE JUST WANTED TO MAKE IT A VERY SPECIAL EVENT. SO THAT REALLY IS WHERE WE ARE RIGHT NOW BECAUSE WE’RE SO TIRED AND EXHAUSTED AND THE KITCHEN STILL SMELLS LIKE BUTTER.”
