Mortal Kombat, which was initially released as a video game in 1992, has now been moulded into a successful movie franchise. Fans of Mortal Kombat have a significant reason to rejoice as the movie will be coming to screens before the expected date. Warner Bros made some tremendous changes to release schedule in their 2020 and 2021 release schedules, thanks to which Mortal Kombat ‘s release date has been preponed.
Now, Mortal Kombat reboot is expected to be released on 15th Jan 2021. It was earlier supposed to be released on March 5, 2021. The fans will be treated with their favorite movie, nearly two months more first than initially it was planned to release. The fans now won’t have to wait much to enjoy the power-packed fighters fighting with each other using their skillful techniques.
Commercial director, Simon Mcquaid are now directing the movie. While Greg Russo has written the script, it has been produced by James Wan.
Joe Taslim (Sub-Zero), Hiroyuki Sanada (Scorpion), Chin Han (Shang Tsung), Ludi Lin (Liu Kang), Jessica McNamee (Sonya Blade), Josh Lawson (Kano), Tadanobu Asano (Raiden), Mehcad Brooks (Jax), Sisi Stringer (Mileena) and Lewis Tan will be seen in pivotal roles in the series. Though we are still unaware of what will be Tan’s character.
