‘You’ is nothing without Joe, and we all know that Joe is back with his creepy character and narrations. Depending on how things were left in season 2 finale, we are also assuming that Joe’s love for his girlfriend will be back.
There is a possibility that the real Will (Robin Lord Taylor) could play his part in season 3. Ellie Alves (Jenna Ortega) could also return for a further season. At the end of season 2, we saw Chris D’Elia moved to start her new life, but we doubt if she will return in Joe’s life to take revenge and cause trouble.

So this shows that season two is going to be about something different, and a new story of Joe’s life will be weaved this time too.
What’s Joe’s Childhood:
In season one, we learned how Joe took up by the book store owner when he was young and how that owner taught him to run the store and manage old books. We also saw that the bookstore owner looked in the glass room to show him the value of books. Season two gave us a flashback of Joe’s family that how his father treated him mercilessly and how his mother left him alone for her sexual encounters.
Later we saw that Joe ends up killing his father with a gun when he was attacking his mom, and then both son and daughter loved together. It may be possible that his mother is still alive. Season 3 may show some more flashbacks of Joe’s family history.
