The drug drama we all love is coming back.

And here lies all the details we know about the season to be released in February.

It will be available on Netflix on 13th February 2020. Along with the date, Netflix gave a short teaser, featuring lead actor Diego Luna turning towards the camera, talking in a voiceover.

Season One Plot, What Happened?

The identity of the person who narrates the show was finally revealed to the audience. It is Scoot McNairy as agent Walt Breslin, a DEA agent in charge of Operation Leyenda, a task force that works to find the people who are responsible for Kiki’s death. And this is for season two.

So it can be said with confidence that season two will center around the death of Kiki.

”What happened in Guadalajara in the early ’80s was the beginning,” says Breslin. We knew we were in a war,” he says at the end of the episode. “Now, it was our turn. Pretty soon, they were going to know; they were in one too.”  And this is where the war begins. Literally.

Scoot McNairy is agent Walt Breslin, an agent of DEA, brought in after Kiki Camarena dies. He is also the mystery narrator for the entirety of the season. The identity was revealed in the finale.

Diego Luna plays the narco kingpin, Felix Gallardo. He is also starring, Tenoch Huerta as Rafael Cara Quintero. Teresa Ruiz as Felix’s girlfriend Isabella Bautista. Alejandro Edda as Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman. He is a protégé of Felix who would go on to become the head of the Sinaloa Cartel.

And that is that. All the information we know about the upcoming season of the show. And we sure can not wait for the season to start streaming on Netflix.
