Killing Eve Series two gave the audience an enjoyable experience, which has raised the expectation bar for the upcoming threequel. And this time, the writer is Suzanne Heathcote, and we are yet to experience how she presents the adventures of the characters.
The third series was announced in April 2019, and even the documentation for the fourth series has also started. The apt date hasn’t officially been announced, but the series is likely to be aired in the UK in 2020 on BBC.
The plotline of series three raises so many questions about the relations and differences between Eve and Villanelle. If Eve can survive, will she resolve her issues with Villanelle and forgive her. Villanelle’s past is in questioning too. Another issue ais whether Hugo will live or die, and if he lives, will he be able to forgive Eve?
Jodie Comer will be seen back in her role as Villanelle, and Sandra Oh might also appear again if her character Eve isn’t dead.
The other cast members that are likely to return are Fiona Shaw as Carolyn Martens, Kim Bodnia as Konstantin, Owen McDonnell as a Niko Polastri, Sean Delaney as Kenny Stowton and Nina Sosanya as Jess.
The writers have included a new character named Dr. Mark Freestone, a psychiatrist who will explore the nature of Villanelle as an assassin and her obsession over Eve.
