‘Venom’ made $856 million. And now, it is back to return with a sequel.
Venom’s massive collection, despite the reviews, seems that sony is developing it with the original movie’s co-writer, Kelly Marcel, back to write the screenplay.
Venom 2 Release Date
It isn’t confirmed, but it may be released on October 2, 2020, hopefully, if everything goes alright.
The first Venom hit theatres on October 5, 2018, so the second movie released almost exactly two years later makes a lot of sense.
Venom 2 Plot
Andy Serkis, the director of Venom, said:
“I can’t tell you any ideas right now. I’m in the beginning stages, but I have some very clear ideas about what I want to see visually, and how we can take the characters to another dimension.”
The producer of the movie said:
“The heart of Venom was always the relationship between Eddie and Venom. These two characters, these two sides that had to figure out how to live together and that we’re somehow better together than they were separately, or more successful, and what that meant.”
There may be the presence of ‘Carnage’ as well as ‘Spiderman’ in the upcoming story.
