The significant addition to the movie is Natalie Portman, who will be portraying the role of female Thor. No compromises on gender equality, eh? Waititi is even extremely thankful to her to agreeing for being a part of the cast and to come back. Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson will be returning as, ofcourse, Thor and Valkyrie.
Another, first time thing that’s going to happen is, Valkyrie becoming the first LGBTQ superhero. She will be MCU’ s first of the type. When asked Tessa about her role, her quick answer was, “First of all, as New King, she needs to find her Queen. That would be her first order of business. She has some ideas.”
Waititi has revealed he has taken inspiration from Marvel Comics series,” The Mighty Thor” by Jason Aaron for this movie. He said, “That storyline is incredible is full emotion, love and thunder and introduces female Thor.” Hemsworth is clueless about what Thor is upto now, he said, At this point, he might be on the couch.”
