Even the name, The Alienist couldn’t give you a hint of what the show holds inside. The story is about a psychologist Dr Kreisler and the horrific incident his life holds.

The original cast is set out to reprise their roles in the sequel which includes Daniel Brühl as Dr Laszlo Kreisler, Luke Evans as John Moore, and Dakota Fanning as Sara Howard. Brian Geraghty as Theodore Roosevelt and Douglas Smith and Matthew Shear as Marcus and Lucius Isaacson might also be a part of the sequel.
Attorney Clarence Darrow, suffragist and ladies’ rights chief Elizabeth Cady Stanton and the painter Albert Pinkham Ryde are the new roles that we might witness in the sequel.
The plot is such that a private detective named Sara seeks for the help of Dr Kreisler to save the kidnapped daughter of a Spanish Delegate. The team then will be seen ganging up and finding the daughter.
