Loki’s Role:

Tom Hiddleston debuted as Loki in 2011with Marvel’s Thor. He played Thor’s younger brother, who can shapeshift. He came back with the role in Thor: The Dark World and Thor: Ragnarok, as well as Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame and played a major role as well.

Tom Hiddleston announced that he’s going to be a voice actor in a show og Disney+. He’ll be voicing Loki in MCU’s ‘What If’ that shows the characters in an alternate version from the events of the MCU movies.

He is also listed for their standalone series about him called Loki. Both are slated for 2021. He even teased the Loki series on his Instagram back in July.

The New Loki Series:

A report says that Marvel and Disney are already looking for a new Loki. The option they are looking at Finn Wolfhard. The 17-year-old Wolfhard first rose to fame for Netflix’s Stranger Things as Mike Wheeler.

Considering the major age gap between Finn and Tom, they might use the ‘reincarnation’ storyline. Since Loki died and reincarnated, This version of Loki had no memories of any of his misdeeds as an adult and had very little of his magical powers.

It’s not confirmed yet, but this seems like a good choice.
