The first trailer was released in early December 2019 at the CCXP comic expo in Brazil.

The trailer hints at the friendship between Gal Gadot’s Diana Prince and Kristen Wiig’s Barbara Minerva who is an archaeologist and has the power to channel the ancient goddess Cheetah.

It is set in the neon-splashed Reagan Era as we can figure out from the posters.

Wonder Woman 1984 is now is being released on June 5, 2020, moved back from its original December 2019 release date mainly to avoid its clash with Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker with the cute Baby Yoda.
