Star Trek Discovery’s second season hit the screens on the 18th of January and left us in awe. The show now has a huge fanbase and viewership standing to the huge success. Hence, now we are looking forward to the next mission, aka season three.

“The massive success of Star Trek: Discovery’s second season launch exceeded our expectations in both driving subscriber growth and generating a phenomenal response from Star Trek fans,” says Julie McNamara, executive vice president of original content at CBS All Access, in a statement.

The first season came in 2017 while the second came in 2019. So when’s the second season coming?

Well, there’s no official news from the creators about the release dates. But we expect it to come in the first half of 2020.

From Spock, expect nothing new. He is emotionally vulnerable and weak now. After the events of we know something happened in the signals and the red angel that has broken him down. Therefore, Spock will probably be in a very different place in the very first episodes itself.

They are out of the Mirror Universe now. Gene is gone now. But the writers have different plans for Deep Space Nine ‘s personality that will surely change the show’s path.

From the last seasons, we will see Michael Burnham (Sonequa Martin-Green), Saru (Doug Jones), Paul Stamets (Anthony Rapp), Sylvia Tilly (Mary Wiseman), Nhan (Rachael Ancheril), Dr. Hugh Culber (Wilson Cruz) and many more others.
