The young adult drama ‘Euphoria’ ended with a bang last year. It’s the HBO’s American adaptation to the Israeli show of the same name. The show features the life of teens as they go through discovering their sexuality, drugs, love, and adjusting through their surroundings.
When Is It Coming?
There hasn’t been any confirmation about the releasing date for the second season. But we can expect it by late 2020 or early 2021. Season 1 aired on June 16 in the USA and August 6 in the UK.
Who’s Coming Back?
Zendaya is definitely coming back as she got the call from the creators. She thanked everyone for tweeting. We can expect Strom Raid, Jules (Hunter Schafer), Lexi (Maude Apatow), Fezco (Angus Cloud), Cal (Eric Dane), Maddy (Alexa Demie), Nate (Jacob Elordi), Kat (Barbie Ferreira), Leslie (Nika King), (Christopher) Algee Smith, and Cassie (Sydney Sweeney) to join the cast later on.
What Can We Expect?
Storm Raid ho plays Zendaya’s little sister said, “Our whole show is for your own interpretation, and I did see the things where people ask me if she was deceased or not, or if she had relapsed in the last episode.” She also explained that we could expect to see Rue’s perception and trauma she’s going through. A relapse that leads to overdose and breakdowns; anything can happen.
On the other hand, Barbie Ferreira hinted on an LGBTQ storyline. But maybe we can get to see both aspects of the storyline. Till now, we’ve also seen a ‘micropenis’ and ‘ one direction animated fan erotica,’ so we can expect a lot more things to come.
Unfortunately, HBO president Casey Bloys said that there is a time limit. Bloys maintains that he and series creator Sam Levinson has not set an end date in stone. Saying that “We’ll follow [Sam’s] lead on that,” he says. “There is no set plan. But I don’t think you want 30-year-olds playing [high school students].”
